A brilliant art-project which celebrates my favourite things: words, pictures, communication and people.
Beginning in 2005, the project has grown and now receives secrets from people all around the world. The simple premise of the art project is to decorate a postcard and write a secret that you’ve never told anybody before. The only restrictions are that they must be truthful and still secret. The postcards are then sent to a PO Box and collected to be exposed online, in books and exhibitions. The mission behind the project is to empower both the people who write their secrets down and the people who read them.
I have been a fan of this project since it began and have a copy of the first book.
Perusing the archives makes fascinating reading.
